Eight is a compilation of short stories written by Canadian author P. J. Daniels. 

These stories were written over a decade, and were left as-is for posterity., as editing them years later might have changed their meanings. 

Each story has a specific theme or motif that related to something the author was going through in his life at the time.  However, each story was exaggerated and fantasized to make them more palatable to the general populous.
